About ISHM :Indian Society for History and Mathematics()ISHM,Founded by the Late Proffesor Udita Narayna Singh in 1978 has the main aim of promoting study,teaching and education in hiostory Mathematics at all levels.It avoid forum for exposition for ideas and expiriance by way of organising periodic national and international meetings/seminar/confrerence on the work of ancient,medieval and modern mathematics.ISHM has also been bringing out its bulletin Ganita Bhartieve since 1979. About NIT MANIPUR : National Institute of Manipur ,a centraly funded institution is set up to import quality technical education a centrally funded institution is setup to impart quality technical education at various levels of higher learning.It is one of the ten new NITs established and developed as Institutes of National Importance by an act of Parliament.NIT Manipur started its first session with the three branches of Engineering:Electrical & Electronics,Electronics & Communication and Computer Science.The Institute,which started in a temporary Campus at Takyelpat,Imphal,earlier,is now situated,since 2014,in a 138.2 hectares plot of land in the lush gree nareas o fLangol,Imphal.This Institute now has open courses on B.Tech.,M.Tech.,M.Sc.and Ph.D in Civil,CSE,ECE,Mechanical,Chemistry,Mathematics,Physics and Social Sciences & Humanities
